Last Day Sesson 6 (Thursday, Aug.10)

The group today only had to spend about 30 minutes finishing their powerpoint and preparing for the presentation to the game developers. They did a great job pulling everything together and had some great ideas, but were quiet when it came time for the presentation. Despite that, I was really impressed with what they came up with – a good idea for a game along with an interesting description/plot.

Before the presentation, I had the groups experiment with the eye toy games because they hadn’t done so yet. They all played Kinetic and Karaoke and some played Spy. They seemed to all have fun playing all the games, and even the really shy consultants who didn’t think they would like Karaoke eventually came around and wanted to keep playing.

After the presentation, before everyone left, I asked all the consultants to name one game they would take with them today from the lab. Their answers were as follows:

Lucas: Karaoke (he also liked guitar hero quite a bit)
Noor: Nintendo Dog for the Nintendo DS
Jasmine: Kinetic
Ryan: Burnout and an eyetoy game
Jonathon: Burnout
Andrew: Guitar Hero
Matthew: Guitar Hero
