Monday - first day

Our first day went well. The kids all seems to get along with each other and were eager to play games with one another. The ice breaking activity was great because not only did it allow us all to get to know one another better - David and I were able to give them a heads up about how we would like them to answer questions - how to elaborate more and be descriptive in their answers. We had quite a bit of game play to get the consultants introduced to then lab and the various systems, games, and computers that we have available. We had a discussion on favorite and least favorite games and what made them so. We really tried to get the consultants to elaborate on the why aspect of their answers. Barb came in to introduce the blogs and assign the typologies for homework.
