My first day reflection

Today was a good day! I am impressed with the level of Maturity of the kids. At first they were a little hesitant to talk to me but once I opened up to them they became more comfortable around me. It was a great experience for me because I do not work with older kids. Some of the potential barriers I saw was the DDR wireless controls they do not work consistently; we will need an abundance of batteries; I also think we need more games; however, once the kids play the T rated games they will play the games longer. Students also mentioned the use of an X-box. They would like to experiment with one.
I wish I had more time to spend in the gaming lab. The environment feels welcoming and I think Stephanie is doing a great job leading the way.
